Bikram Choudhary, the famed yoga teacher who popularised his brand of yoga by practising it in a heated room, has many celebrity Bollywood and Hollywood clients. Way back in the 1960s, Bikram Choudhary was the only famous celebrity yoga teacher. Not only did he popularise his brand of yoga,called the Bikram Yoga or hot yoga, which is practised in a room heated to 105 degree F, he also had many celebrity students. The yoga guru has many famed star clients. Dharmendra, Anil Kapoor, Gulshan Grover, Shirley Maclaine, Madonna, Brooke Shields are clients of Guru Bikram Choudhary. Guru Bikram says, " Anil Kapoor came to my classes in Beverly Hills. he was keen to learn the art, though he was in Beverley Hills only for a week. He wondered if a week's time was enough to learn yoga. During that week, Anil made it a point to attend both the morning and evening classes. He was a very eager student. We kept in touch. He has said that he continues to practice yoga even today."
