FIRST ANNUAL FRAMEFLIXX AWARDS 2009

The first annual Frameflixx Awards 2009 was held at Bhaidas Hall in Bombay (now Mumbai). The event anchored by Mohan Kapur of Saamp Seedi fame and orgaised by Frameboxx Animation & Visual Effects witnessed Animation enthusiasts from all over India. The Awards are to celebrate creativity, animation, visual effects and short films made by the next generation of creative minds and talents in India.

PRIYANSHU CHATTERJEE IN DIAMOND MURDERS

Bollywood actor Priyanshu Chatterjee is back with a murder mystery. It is an interesting and engaging flick. A thriller with characters who shuffle between time zones in the mind of the protagonist seeking answers to the unknown. Unilux Films’ thriller "Diamond Murders", directed by National Award winning director Ashoke Vishwanathan, also starring actors Rajit Kapur, Simone Singh, Victor Banerjee, Raj Zutshi and others, saw an interesting shoot at BB Bungalow at Mudh Island. Other than the quest for the mysterious coveted diamonds shots with Rajit Kapur, Priyanshu Chatterjee and Toby the four-legged detective assistant, an interesting underwater jewel sequence was also shot at the venue with Priyanshu Chatterjee and Simone Singh. While Rajit Kapur seemed to be changing from one guise to another, Priyanshu Chatterjee was haute and happening looking straight out of Tum Bin, while Kolkatta’s singing sensation June Bannerjee crooned for her video that starred Simone Singh. Cinematographer Vivek Banerjee was at his trickiest best using camera techniques instead of the chroma to shoot double roles of Raj Zutshi, while director Ashoke Vishwanathan was seen talking about an interesting sequence where Sherlock Holmes comes to life in the Bollywood flick to meet Rajit Kapur. Now that is one interesting sequence, we are looking forward to checking out as well…

on the film viveks says It is youth oriented. A young fresh film largely based on campus and you will get see the energy of its kind. But it’s certainly not another teeny hopper. It has amazing twist and turns and some really good characters. Like for instance, you will see Rishi Kapoorji in his life time role, never seen before.
Vivek is modest and says “A creative person is never satisfied with his work (smiles). I always feel that I can do better as a filmmaker. I am trying to improve in my each film, it’s a learning process for me”

MODEL AISH IN NAZIA HASAN’S REMIX ALBUM

Famous singer Nazia Hasan’s (“Aap jaisa koi meri zindgi me aaye” fame) another remix “Boom Boom mile jab hum tum” was shot for a video album and the famous model AISH ANSARI was the main girl in it. She has modeled for a Johnson and Johnson and for more prestigious projects.

I got an opportunity to meet Aish personally and she informed me that this album was not only shot in Mumbai but also in Hongkong and Switzerland on a very high scale. Padma Ansari is the producer and the director is Mr. Vikas Dutta.

When I questioned Aish “why she selected Nazia Hasan’s song? She replied that she was great fan of Nazia Hasan and her songs have great scope of exposing and dancing and Aish loves to do both. Along with her, Inder Bajwa and several dancers also participated in that song “boom boom … Jab mile hum tum”. This remix is Guru Sharma’s creation. The specialty of “Boom Boom” is that she has exposed herself and has enjoyed working in it. She has also worked in south Indian movies. Her latest was a Telgu film-‘Encounter’.

How did you enter the modeling world?

She replied from childhood she had great liking for dance and performed on stage and while doing classical dance she was spotted by organizers who gave a chance to dance in a programme organized by Hydrabad cultural organization where she was crowned for MISS BANGLORE.

Then how was the entry in Bollywood?

She replied that she became busy in modeling and south movies and she was approached by Hindi film makers- but only she liked Mahesh Bhatt’s movies and Feroz Khan’s projects.

She is not attracted towards any male actors in Bollywood, but she is a great fan of cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh and has also met them personally too.
